An undergraduate student majoring in information systems hacked into BoA’s cyworld mini-hompy and found discriminating pictures of her and Danny (ex-g.o.d member). Instead of sharing that picture with rest of us, this low life yet clever hacker blackmailed SM and received 35 million won (US$35,000) in return. Those pictures must be really telling if SM coughed up that much money, but their official reason was “in an attempt to catch the guy.” SM also added that he threatened to spread false rumors about BoA if they didn’t pay up.But if BoA and Danny were in fact nothing but friends, why did SM pay him to shut him up, while Sidus IHQ didn’t even budge when they received the same threat via email requesting more money? Instead Sidus called the police immediately. Perhaps the picture does more harm to BoA than Danny? Anyhow, the good news is that this cyber-terrorist was caught yesterday and is now behind bars.
